VINNIE Vincent, the ex-Kiss guitarist who was arrested on charges of aggravated assault yesterday (22nd May 2011) allegedly attacked his wife before dragging her through broken glass, reports TMZ.com. VINNIE Vincent, who was chosen from hundreds of try-outs to play lead guitar for Kiss, reportedly beat his wife before she escaped in a car.
Vincent, real name Vincent Cusano, allegedly "smacked his wife in the face and dragged her through a pile of broken glass", during the assault at his home yesterday. His wife Diane told officers that the couple began arguing about a female subject that Vincent had been talking to. The musician reportedly then "grabbed her by the hair and threw her down to the ground". When police arrived at the house, they found Vincent and "four sealed containers containing deceased dogs". Diane told authorities that the animals had been "killed by one of their aggressive dogs" and an animal service team was contacted to investigate.
VINNIE Vincent was eventually arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. His bond has been set at $10,000. The guitarist was known as the 'Ankh Warrior' during his time with Gene Simmons' band. He eventually left the group in 1984 and was replaced by MARK ST. JOHN.
