Kourtney Kardashian 's baby girl Penelope Scotland Disick has finally been introduced to the world, exactly a month after the reality star gave birth to her second child. Kardashian, Penelope and son Mason appear on the cover of US Weekly magazine this week.
Holding both of her children close, Kourtney looks a picture of happiness and gushed to the magazine about her new daughter. She said, "Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her". Kourtney and Penelope have kept an incredibly low profile over the past month, leaving it up to partner Scott Disick and son Mason to be snapped by the paparazzi around town. Born on July 8, 2012, at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Penelope weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Though she has a fairly traditional first tame, Penelope's middle name Scotland is just about as 'celebrity' as it gets. Place names have become a trendy source of inspiration for baby names - especially amongst the rich and famous - in recent years. The Beckhams' named their son Brooklyn, while Gwen Stefani opted for Kingston. Alicia Keys named her son Egypt, while Chris Hemsworth recently welcomed baby daughter 'India'.
Kourtney is the only mother amongst the famous Kardashian sisters, though Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian have often spoken of their desire to have children in the future.
