Kristen Stewart 's 'people' are going to have a hard time over the coming weeks, keeping a lid on the inevitable rumors about her career and her personal life. In the wake of her infidelity with Rupert Sanders, whilst she was dating Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, the stories doing the rounds about Kristen are starting to resemble a witch-hunt. Earlier this week, tabloid reports spread like wildfire, suggesting that the young actress had pulled out of a London premiere of On the Road. A source working on the movie has told E! Online that the story is rubbish - apparently Kristen was never scheduled to attend the event anyway.
Originally, it was thought that the shame of her recent love scandal was keeping her away from the event but the source told reporters that none of the movie's US stars were expected to attend. Perhaps they're leaving British actors Sam Riley and Tom Sturridge to fly the flag for the rest of the cast, then? 'On the Road' is an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic beat generation novel and stars Kristen Stewart and Sam Riley in two of the leading roles, along with Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen.
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson appears be slowly dusting himself off and getting on with his career. E! News reports that the 26 year old attended a business meeting in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (August 7, 2012) and will apparently be appearing on Good Morning America and The Daily Show next week, to promote his new movie, Cosmopolis.
