Kristen Wiig wants to have kids.

The 39-year-old actress - who is dating Fabrizio Moretti from The Strokes - has admitted she would love to start a family in the near future.

She said to LOOK magazine: ''I'd like to have a family ... I would love to have kids.''

The 'Bridesmaids' star also told how she is open to the idea of marriage again, despite splitting from actor Hayes Hargrove in 2009 after just four years of married life.

She added: ''I believe if you're in a good, healthy relationship, there is nothing better. I don't have a specific stance on marriage. I think it's right for some people, and I know a lot of people who didn't believe in it, then they met someone.''

The comedienne - who made a name for herself on 'Saturday Night Live' - believes marriage is worth fighting for and is hopeful it could work again if she finds the right man.

She added: ''It depends on what your definition of marriage is. If you find that one person who makes you really happy, it can work and if it's worth it, you just have to keep fighting for it.''
