Kristin Chenoweth has joined the cast of the ABC drama pilot 'Good Christian Bitches'.
Kristin Chenoweth, the American actress and Emmy Award winner, is set to play a "classic Dallas housewife" in the highly anticipated new pilot, according to Deadline.com.The show will follow the story of a divorced mother and a former high school "mean girl", played by Leslie Bibb, as she returns to her Dallas home. She soon encounters a woman, played by Chenoweth, whom she used to bully at school but 'Darlene' is described as being too much of good Christian to hold a grudge. The pilot will also feature appearances from a number of stage veterans including Annie Potts of 'Designing Women', Miriam Shor of 'Damages' as well as Jennifer Aspen and Marisol Nicholas.
Kristin Chenoweth is perhaps best known for her performance in the acclaimed play 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown', but she also starred in Abc's comedy-drama 'Pushing Daisies'. Her other Broadway credits include 'The Apple Tree' and 'Steel Pier' and she has a recurring role as 'April Rhodes' on the hit musical-comedy series GLEE.
