Kristin Davis wishes she had children.

The 45-year-old actress - who is set to reprise her role as Charlotte York Goldenblatt in 'Sex And The City 2' - admits she sometimes regrets not having a family, but also has occasions where she is relieved not to have extra responsibilities.

She said: "I can't say a lot about the next movie but Charlotte has children and so she's part of that world and it's fascinating.

"I have friends with children and sometimes have moments where I wish I had that, and sometimes it's a good thing I get to go home. It's loud over there!"

The brunette beauty also claimed she isn't afraid of getting older as it is making her appreciate the things she has more.

She added in an interview with LOOK magazine: "I'm so thankful to have success now. I appreciate it a little more, it means a lot when you're our age.

"I think you'd be foolish not to be aware of it. We're in a visual medium, so it's not like you can say, 'I don't care how I look'. You can't really go there. But we have been incredibly lucky to get to play our age."
