The Australian singer has been widely known simply by her first name since shooting to fame in the late 1980s, and until the emergence of reality TV star Jenner there was no one in showbiz who shared the moniker.

Earlier this month (May15), it emerged the U.S. teenager has moved to officially protect her first name so nobody else can trade off it, sparking the anger of many Minogue fans on social networking websites, but the Spinning Around hitmaker is adamant she is not fazed by the move.

She tells British magazine Event, "I'm not bothered. In fact, I love how upset about that my fans have got on my behalf."
