Singer Kylie Minogue pays herself a $2.1 million (GBP1.2 million) salary each year.

The figures are revealed in the company accounts for her firm DARENOTE LTD - which is run by her parents RON and CAROL, and made profits of $5 million (GBP2.8 million) in the year upto March 2002.

Minogue's fortunes have altered dramatically over the past four years - thanks in large part to the phenomenal chart success of single CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD, which sold four million copies worldwide.

Darenote, which owns Minogue's $1.8 million (GBP1 million) London home, also made $6,300 (GBP3,500) donations to charity.
