British singer/songwriter Labrinth has snubbed requests from manager Simon Cowell to work with artists who found fame on The X Factor because he is "not into the idea" of collaborating with reality TV stars.
The musician/producer's Tinie Tempah collaboration, Pass Out, reached number one in the U.K., and he has also worked with musicians including Emeli Sande and Professor Green.
However, Labrinth, real name Timothy MCKenzie, is not willing to head into the studio with TV talent show contestants.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "Simon Cowell may be my manager but I'm not going to work with any of the musicians from The X Factor.
"Simon did say a few things to me about working with some of the artists but he knows I'm not into the idea. I'm fine about always being linked to Simon because that's the way the music industry works."
