Lady GaGa has announced the European dates for the 'Born this Way Ball' tour. The tour will be the first time that Gaga has hit the road since she released her Born This Way album in May 2011. She will play London's Twickenham Stadium on September 8, 2012 and Manchester Arena on September 11, 2012. Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 9am local time.
According to Gaga's website, the tickets for the show will cost between 50 pounds and 80 pounds for the London show and between 60 pounds and 80 pounds for the Manchester show. Support on both of the UK dates will come from the newly-reformed rock band The Darkness. The Darkness reached the peak of the fame in the early 2000's, with their hit singles 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' and 'Get Your Hands Off of My Woman.' Lead singer Justin Hawkins left the band in 2006, when he decided to embark on a rehabilitation program for his addiction problems. They announced their reunion in 2011 and will be playing this year's Isle of Wight festival.
