Pop superstar Lady GaGa has brushed off criticism of her controversial Do What U Want music video after the raunchy promo leaked online.
The singer released her duet with R. Kelly last year (13), but the accompanying video failed to appear and Gaga blamed the delay on time constraints.
The clip, which features Kelly and was directed by controversial photographer Terry Richardson, leaked online on Thursday (19Jun14), and hit headlines for its explicit content, with critics alleging the saucy scenes appear to condone rape.
However, Gaga dismissed the furore over the promo in a post on her Instagram.com page on Friday (20Jun14), adding a picture of her dogs looking bored and writing in a caption, "Stella and Asia after watching Dwuw (Do What U Want)."
She adds in a series of posts on Twitter.com, "Is there a yawn emoji (emoticon)... this one doesn't look unimpressed enough."
