Lady GaGa thrilled fans in Japan on Saturday night (25Jun11) by putting on a spectacular show in aid of victims of the country's earthquake/tsunami disaster.
The Poker Face hitmaker was the star of the MTV Music Video Aid Japan Show at the Makuhari Messe Arena in Chiba, near Tokyo, wowing the crowd with a lavish performance which saw her start the show tangled in a giant spider web.
The event, which was reworked from Mtv's video music awards, was hosted by pop group Akb48 and featured nine musical acts, led by Gaga and including Tokio Hotel, Exile, Namie Amuro, Shinee and Girls' Generation, all performing to raise money for ongoing clean-up efforts following the March (11) disaster.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Japanese Red Cross and the postponed awards section of the show will take place next month (Jul11).
