Lady GaGa must really be feeling like she's playing second fiddle at the moment following the furore surrounding Adele after the Briton sold the most records in the world this year and was subsequently nominated for six Grammy Awards. First Gaga revealed a 14 minute long video for her upcoming single 'Marry The Night' and - seemingly unsatisfied with that - she's now expected to announce a frankly mind boggling 450 date world tour.
UK newspaper The Sun reports that the extrovert star has her sights on beating U2's record for the highest attended and largest grossing tour ever, the Irish group wrapping up their '360' tour earlier this year after playing to more than 7.2 million people and taking in more that $736 million worldwide during the two years.
U2's brief jolly was pretty spectacular, sure, but it's something Gaga thinks she can beat according to a source, who exclaimed, "The Haus Of Gaga is taking things up a gear." Elaborating further, they continued, "She is planning to kick things off in Asia and India next year and go on a gruelling world tour," furthering that, completely rationally, "as is always the case with Gaga, the plans came to her in her sleep. She has a target of 450 dates. It has never been done before, but she's doesn't think that's a reason not to try."
