Bosses at Malaysian radio stations have banned parts of Lady GaGa's equality anthem Born This Way due to its pro-gay lyrics.
Chiefs at Amp Radio Networks in the conservative, Muslim-majority country have used indecipherable noise over sections of the track where the star sings about equal rights for the gay community.
One lyric which is omitted from the radio-friendly version is, "No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I'm on the right track, baby."
A spokesperson for the broadcaster tells The Associated Press, "(Those lyrics) may be considered as offensive when viewed against Malaysia's social and religious observances."
