Willow Smith, the daughter of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, will make her most high-profile television appearance yet when she takes to the stage at 'DICk Clarks' New Year's Rockin' Eve' on ABC, according to MTV News. The 10-year-old, who recently released the hugely popular track 'Whip My Hair', will be performing alongside the likes of NE-YO, NATASHA BEDDINGFIELD, Drake, and La Roux at the annual concert.
The video for 'Whip My Hair' became an internet smash-hit and has amassed over 23 million hits on YouTube since it was posted online. Dick Clark's show has become a New Year's Eve tradition, and its live broadcast from New York City is watched by millions each year. This year, Clark will share hosting duties with Ryan Seacrest, Jenny McCarthy, and the Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, and the concert is being moved to Los Angeles.
Speaking about MCCarthy in particular, the show's producer Larry Klein said, "Jenny is a great addition to this year's show. She is funny, relatable and high energy, and she will be great with our New Year's crowd, Ryan and DICk".
