R&B star Lauryn Hill has postponed three upcoming concerts until next year (14).

The former Fugees singer had been booked to perform in a trio of shows across New York and New Jersey during the week of Christmas (begs23Dec13), but the gigs have since been pushed back until January and February (14).

No reason for the rescheduling has been announced.

Hill embarked on her current tour weeks after walking free from the Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut in October (13), after serving a three-month sentence for tax evasion.

As part of the sentence, Hill had also been ordered to spend three months under home confinement, but was granted permission to delay the punishment until January (14) so that she could head out on tour.

It is not yet known whether the star's legal troubles are linked to the concert postponements, while a start date for her house arrest sentence has yet to be revealed.
