Glee star Lea Michele has unveiled a new tribute song she wrote in honour of her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

Just weeks ahead of the release of her debut album Louder, the 27 year old singer/actress has shared a track titled You're Mine, explaining it was inspired by Monteith, who died from a drug overdose last year (13).

Michele took to Twitter.com on Monday (10Feb14) after debuting the song, and wrote, "#Youremine (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER It's so special to me & it's story is so close to my heart."

In the December 2013 issue of Elle magazine, Michele divulged that the personal track was a last-minute addition to her new album, explaining, "The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't'. It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory..."

And the actress/singer admits the song has proved therapeutic: "When I think if him, I play this."
