Leftfield founder PAUL DALEY is sitting out of the 1990s band's forthcoming reunion so he can concentrate on his solo career.
The electronica pioneers have announced they are reuniting in 2010 - eight years after they split - to perform a string of gigs over the summer.
But Leftfield will be missing one half of the original line-up, leaving Daley's bandmate Neil Barnes to perform alone.
Daley explains, "I'm about to embark on a solo career with the release of my first solo album. I also want to continue concentrating on my DJing work, so I've decided I won't be joining Neil on stage for the Leftfield dates this year.
"I want to thank all the fans for their past support and all the people who will be hearing and seeing the band for the first time."
