Katherine Jenkins has steadily impressed the judges on the Dancing With The Stars in recent weeks, but the Welsh opera singer and blonde bombshell took her performance to another level in the latest round of the show after donning a ridiculously short dress that revealed legs that went on for aeons. Undoubtedly her new wild look really bolstered her overall confidence, and her sexy jive with professional partner Mark Ballas was among the highlights of the evening.

Jenkins looked initially a little uncomfortable with the fast-paced nature of her dance with Ballas, reports ABC, however by the end she was resplendent, leading judge BRUNO TONIOLO to enthuse that she had been unleashed. Other high points of the evening came with Roshon Fegen and his partner Chelsie Hightower who impressed in both their dances, judge Len Goodman being particularly enamoured with the pair. Maria Menounos meanwhile bravely battled through a rib injury and together with her partner Derek Hough amassed a points total of 25 from a possible 30.

Not everyone was flying though, with Melissa Gilbert, Gladys Knight and Martina Navratilova all found themselves in the bottom three with points totals of 20, 19 and 17 respectively. Navratilova's display is particularly surprising, with former sports professionals traditionally strong in the competition. She'll find out if she goes tonight (March 27, 2012).
