British singer Leona Lewis has teamed up with The Body Shop to promote the eco-friendly brand's cruelty-free beauty message.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker, a long-time animal rights supporter and vegetarian, has been unveiled as the retailer's new Brand Activist, and will help the cosmetic company's campaign to end testing on animals for good.

The pop star is also lending her name to a special new make-up and fragrance collection for The Body Shop.

She says, "I'm passionate about beauty and I'm all about animal rights. As a result, I'm really conscious of where the products that I use come from. The Body Shop sells cruelty free, ethical products containing amazing Community Fair Trade ingredients. The collaboration is a natural fit!"
