Brad Pitt's alleged attacker has been charged with battery and assault.

Vitalii Sediuk, who reportedly hit the 50-year-old star in the face and broke his designer sunglasses at the Hollywood premiere of his fiancée Angelina Jolie's new movie, 'Maleficent,' on Wednesday night (28.05.14), is facing four charges, including Battery, Assault, Unlawful Activity at a Sporting Event, Theatrical or Exhibition and Unlawful Delay or Interference of a Sporting Event, Theatrical or Exhibition.

The Los Angeles City Attorney is also seeking a restraining order that will prevent the Ukrainian prankster, 25, from crashing multiple upcoming entertainment industry events, according to E! News.

Brad was granted an emergency protection order against Sediuk on Thursday (29.05.14), forcing the controversial TV personality to stay at least 500 feet away from him for the next five days.

Sediuk has become known for pranking celebrities on the red carpet.

But Ukraine's Channel 1+1 said that it had fired him after he attempted to put his head under actress America Ferrera's dress at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 17.

In January this year, he hugged Bradley Cooper around the waist, putting his face in the 'Hangover' star's crotch at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a month later, tried a similar move on Leonardo Dicaprio at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Sediuk was also slapped by Will Smith at a 'Men In Black 3' premiere two years ago, after he tried to kiss the star on the lips.
