Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher quit drugs last November (08) for the sake of his children - because his late-night binges were beginning to affect his role as a father.
The singer has three children - Molly, 11, with ex Lisa Moorish, Lennon, 10, with ex-wife Patsy Kensit, and Gene, eight, with current wife Nicole Appleton.
Gallagher, 37, admits he has indulged in illegal substances for the last 20 years but finally gave up his bad habits in 2008 when he realised his wild ways were having a negative impact on his family.
He says, "I've knocked all that on the head (given all that up) since last November. You must remember that I've caned it (partied hard) for 20 years and not just on the sauce (alcohol) but with all sorts. But I've had a great time and now I'm having a break. It doesn't work with kids, man. You wake up the next day after a session and you're looking for bits of your kids' homework and football boots. You're all over the place - it's rubbish."
