A U.S. judge has issued an arrest warrant for rapper Lil' Flip after he failed to attend a scheduled court hearing on Thursday (18Apr13).

The hip-hop star, real name Wesley Eric Weston, Jr, was arrested in Louisiana on 26 December (12) after traffic cops allegedly found marijuana and an Ar-15 rifle in his car.

He previously pleaded not guilty to three counts of possession of a firearm, narcotic possession, and speeding in February (13), arguing that he had a license for the gun and the supposed marijuana cigarettes were actually Black & Mild tobacco cigars.

A source tells Tmz.com that Weston was unaware of the hearing and his legal team is working to clear up the miscommunication.
