Lil Wayne and Birdman's teenage daughters have teamed up to write a young adult novel about their life in the spotlight.

Reginae Carter and Bria Williams, both 14, have partnered with bosses at U.S. publishing house Simon & Schuster to release Paparazzi Princesses, which will detail the ups and downs of having a rap star for a father.

The book will hit stores on 4 June (13) and Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., couldn't be more proud, saying, "I've got to be honest. It's inspiring to see what these girls have done. It wasn't easy, and they did it all by themselves. Proud doesn't even begin to describe how me and the Birdman feel. I can't wait for everybody else to experience their story."

And Birdman, the Lollipop hitmaker's former collaborator, real name Bryan Williams, adds, "There's no better feeling than watching Bria and Reginae make this dream come true. They took an idea, worked extremely hard, and brought it to life. It's the kind of story that everybody can feel, and it's only the start of much bigger things for these two wonderful young ladies."
