Lily Allen installed a $90,000 (£60,000) security system at her English country home after a British newspaper group published unauthorised photos of the property - and she wants compensation.
The pop star was left with "considerable distress and anxiety" after snaps of the mansion were posted on the Daily Mail website in September (10), according to newly-emerged legal papers.
She also alleged the report made her vulnerable to stalkers.
Documents filed at the U.K.'s High Court reveal Allen spent thousands to have a state-of-the-art gate entry system, intruder alarms and CCTV surveillance cameras fitted as a result of the invasion of her privacy.
The Smile singer, who filed suit against the Daily Mail's parent company Associated Newspapers in November (10), is demanding between $75,000 (£50,000) and $150,000 (£100,000) in damages.
