American fans of Lily Allen have attacked their government for revoking the British singer's U.S. visa. Allen was allowed entry to the country when she landed at Los Angeles on Sunday (5Aug07), but her visa was revoked - reportedly because she attacked a photographer in London in March (08). Although she wasn't charged by police, she has been interrogated by immigration officers on every visit to America since. And U.S. fans aren't amused the government's actions may cause Allen to miss performances stateside. She has been inundated with messages of support on her blog, including "this visa thing is ridiculous", "pathetic", and "that's our government for you. Sorry!" from users registered to the U.S.
