Lily Allen is working at her ''own pace'' on her new album.

The 'Not Fair' singer has confirmed she is back in the studio, but not rushing her third record, which she will release under her married name, Lily Rose Cooper.

She said: ''It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music. I'm excited to be heading back into the studio.''

Lily, 27, is returning to music three years after announcing her retirement in 2009, so she could concentrate on raising a family with husband Sam Cooper. She gave birth to daughter, Ethel, in November last year, and is has recently announced she is pregnant again.

In July Lily said she was excited to be back in the studio with producer Greg Kurstin, who worked on tracks for her first two albums, 'Alright, Still', released 2006 and 2009's 'It's Not Me It's You'.

She tweeted: ''You will be pleased to know that i am currently in the f**king studio with @GregKurstin (sic)

''no big deal really, im just throwing s**t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks (sic).''
