Lindsay Lohan has changed her ways and learnt from her mistakes - so says the actress and model in an interview with Playboy Magazine. The courts might feel differently after the 25 year-old's somewhat initially lazy attempts at fulfilling the community service hours given to her by California judges, following first a conviction of dangerous driving and then of theft, saw her facing jail time less than a month ago.
Sentenced to 30 days in prison the star walked free after just four hours in November due to overcrowding; Lohan insists though that she regrets her actions of the past couple of years, with Reuters quoting her as telling the magazine, "Looking back, I probably would have listened to and taken more advice from the people whom I admire and would have followed through with it more." She also went on to add "My stubbornness at 18 and 19-years-old got in the way . during the past five years, I've learned that time flies faster than you think, and because you only live once you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable."
The star's interview accompanied the leaked pictorial that she was reportedly paid $1 million to do, with the issue rushed out to shops earlier as a response. Contemplating on her decision to go nude for the magazine Lohan mooted, "Sex and sexuality are a part of nature and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that." She returns to court for a hearing on her probation tomorrow on December 14th 2011.
