This Saturday's White House Correspondent's Dinner (April 28, 2012) promises to be an interesting affair, with a celebrity guest list that includes Lindsay Lohan. According to Politico, President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have invited a varied group of stars, which also includes Oscar winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis and Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria.
Lohan, 25, recently completed her probation and is enjoying a resurgence of sorts. She has signed on to play Elizabeth Taylor in a forthcoming Lifetime biopic and has spoken publically about getting her life back on track. Her representative Steve Honig told the Washington Post that the actress has already confirmed her attendance for the ball, where she'll be joined by Charlize Theron, Viola Davis, Reese Witherspoon and The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson. It's not just humans that are invited to Obama's bash either - Uggie, the famous dog from The Artist - will also be representing canines across the world. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the event, following on from SETH MEYERS, who scored laughs by mocking Donald Trump at last year's event.
The 2011 event was followed immediately by the announcement that the United States Military had killed Osama Bin Laden.
