Lindsay Lohan's probation work has been going "fine" ahead of a scheduled court appearance.

The blonde actress - who has been working at the Los Angeles County Morgue as part of her sentence for breaking her probation in relation to a 2007 DUI (driving under the influence) case - is due in court later today (14.12.11) to give a judge her first progress update since she was given strict new probation requirements.

Deputy Chief Coroner Ed Winter said the 'Mean Girls' star has been showing up, working and leaving without any incident, and he added: "She's been doing fine."

Lindsay's representative Steve Honig explained: "She's working very diligently to keep up her days so she can finish up with probation."

Last month, Lindsay was sentenced to 30 days in jail after admitting she had violated the terms of her probation in relation to the 2007 DUI case, but she served just five hours of her sentence due to overcrowding.
