Lindsay Lohan's father is facing a police investigation over allegations he threatened a record label boss.

Dan Herman, Ceo of Chinga Chang Records, has filed a report with police in his native Pennsylvania accusing Michael Lohan, 54, of threatening him over a deal he was attempting to set up with Lohan's model-turned-singer daughter Ali.

Cops have launched an investigation, according to Tmz.com.

Lindsay Lohan's model sister Ali is said to be on the verge of launching herself as a country singer and has been meeting with a number of record label executives in recent weeks in a bid to land a deal.
