The daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet reveals she performed a slew of high-flying stunts for the sci-fi action adventure, but it was the door of co-star Shailene Woodley's trailer which almost took her out as she prepared to film her final scenes.

Castmate Theo James rushed to her rescue, but the incident has left her scarred for life.

Kravitz recalls, "On the last day of shooting I was sitting on Shailene's trailer steps, we were having lunch together, and the first film we shot in Chicago, which is (known as) the Windy City, and I was sitting on her steps putting my shoes on, about to go to set for the last shot, and the door just goes (slams) in my face.

"All of a sudden blood is coming down everywhere, Theo, being the handsome gentleman he is, scoops me off my feet, throws me onto a couch and was just like, 'Don't look at it, don't look at it.' I got eight stitches... there's still a scar."

Kravitz reprised her role as Christina for the film's new sequel, Insurgent, but she recently revealed she had to back down from performing her own stunts after developing a fear of heights.
