Liam Neeson may be back for 'Taken 3' after being offered a $20 million deal.

The 61-year-old actor may reprise his role as ex-CIA operative Bryan Mills in the popular action movie franchise, according to Deadline.com.

Producers 20th Century Fox and Luc Besson's EuropaCorp are keen to secure the star after he had doubt about returning to the series.

Attention now turns to Neeson's co-stars Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen, who may reprise their roles as the daughter and ex-wife of Neeson's character, who takes bloody revenge on thugs who target his family.

'Taken 2' director is unlikely to return for the new film, but Besson and Robert Mark Kamen have teamed up to write the screenplay for the film and production will begin in 2014.

The $20 million payday would be a steep investment as 'Taken' only cost $25 million, while the sequel cost $45 million.

However, the potential return on Neeson's hefty salary is undeniable as 'Taken' grossed $226 million worldwide and 'Taken 2' exceeded that haul with $374 million.
