Kesha has suffered a blow in her bid to escape a contract with hitmaker Dr. Luke after a judge agreed to release a previous deposition, in which the singer swore under oath that she had never been intimate with her former mentor.

The TiK ToK hitmaker hit headlines last week (ends17Oct14) when she sensationally accused Dr. Luke of submitting her to years of emotional and sexual abuse, which led to her 60-day stint in the Timberline Knolls rehab clinic in Illinois earlier this year (14).

Among her allegations, Kesha claimed he once forced himself on her after making her take drugs and drink alcohol on a plane flight. She also accused the producer, real name Lukasz Gottwald, of taking advantage of her in a hotel suite after plying her with unidentified drugs.

Dr. Luke hit back with a countersuit, accusing Kesha of defamation and extortion, insisting she and her mother had been threatening to go public with various stories about his alleged inappropriate behaviour unless he released the singer from the management contract she signed when she was 18.

Now paperwork from a 2011 deposition has been unsealed at the request of Dr. Luke's lawyer, and her comments under oath could prove damaging to her new suit - during the deposition, part of a lawsuit filed against Kesha and Luke by the singer's former manager, she was quizzed about the nature of the stars' relationship.

Asked if she had ever been intimate with Luke, she replied, "No", while in response to another question about drugs, she insisted, "Dr. Luke never gave me coke".

Kesha's attorney, Mark Geragos, attacked the judge's decision to release the deposition papers on Tuesday (21Oct14), insisting it is "a pathetic attempt to once again blame the victim".

Geragos maintains his client had no choice but to lie under oath, telling Tmz.com, "Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha's life and the lives of her family if she didn't cover up his sexual assaults."

Dr. Luke has yet to respond to the latest development in the case.
