Concert promoters working for Madonna and Metallica have been accused of failing to pay tax on concerts the stars performed in Bulgaria.
A group of 13 promoters are being investigated by the National Revenue Agency (NRA), over claims they failed to pay a 10 per cent tax levied on concerts staged in the country, including performances by the Material Girl and the Enter Sandman rockers.
The omission came to light during an overall investigation conducted by the NRA into the income of Bulgarian entertainers, reports the Sofia Echo.
