Pop superstar Madonna has settled a legal dispute with a New York City neighbour who complained about the noise coming from the singer's apartment.
Karen George filed a lawsuit in 2009 claiming the Material Girl breached regulations at the Manhattan residential building by spending up to three hours a day dancing to "high-decibel amplified music".
Madonna asked to have the suit dismissed, but in September (11), a judge refused and allowed her neighbour to pursue the star for damages.
However, on Wednesday (30Nov11), the dispute was resolved out of court.
Lawyers for Madonna refused to reveal details about the settlement, reports the Associated Press.
