Maggie Gyllenhaal has revealed to US Magazine that she's expecting another baby girl. The actress, who is believed to be well into her third trimester, already has a daughter, Ramona, who is now five years old.
According to the report, Maggie kept the news private until she was in her second trimester. She apparently struggled to keep the news to herself: "I find it difficult to pretend you're not pregnant, which I had to do. I didn't let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I'm throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses." Maggie, 34 apparently went about her business, attending red carpet events and carrying on with daily life, with her daughter and her husband, Peter Sargaard, 41. The couple wed in 2009, after seven years together.
Maggie Gyllenhaal, older sister to Donnie Darko actor Jake, was last seen playing the role of Charlotte in Hysteria, alongside Hugh Dancy, Rupert Everett and Jonathan Pryce. She will shortly be appearing in the drama Won't Back Down, with Holly Hunter and Viola Davis. Her husband Peter starred in Jarhead in 2005, alongside her brother Jake. Sarsgaard will shortly be seen in the Linda Lovelace biopic.
