Malin Akerman is pleased pregnant Kate Hudson is planning to wait until after the birth of her baby to start work on her Linda Lovelace biopic - because it gives the Watchmen star time to complete her rival film.
Akerman took on the title role in Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story after Lindsay Lohan was forced to drop out because of ongoing legal troubles.
Hudson is also set to play the troubled porn legend in another film, but recently confirmed she won't be working on the project until after she becomes a mum this summer (11) - and Akerman hopes the delay will give her own movie an edge.
When asked about Hudson's film by reporters at New York's Tribeca Film Festival, Akerman said, "Is she still (doing the film)? Because she's pregnant." When told the Hudson will be starting work on the movie after the birth, Akerman replied, "Good! Then we'll get ours done before then!"
