Maria Sharapova insists she doesn't care about her good looks and just wants to concentrate on her tennis.
Maria Sharapova, the former world number-one professional tennis player, says she never thinks about her looks and insists her priority is her tennis game, reports Fox News. The 23-year-old, who is a staple in magazines such as Sports Illustrated and Maxim, was asked how she deals with the attention surrounding her 'good looks', to which she replied, "To be quite honest, I never think about things like that. I think there will always be certain pressures of being in the public eye, but my priority is my tennis and making sure I can be the best player I can possibly be". Sharapova, who is now ranked thirteenth in the world, added, "In that instance I am constantly striving for perfection and the only way to do that is to train hard, be extremely disciplined and win tournaments". Sharapova became engaged to Sasha Vujacic back in November 2010. The L.A. Lakers star proposed to the three-time Grand Slam champion at his Manhattan Beach home.
It is not yet known when Maria Sharapova will marry Vujacic but she has publically stated that the couple are in no rush to tie the knot.
