Mariah Carey is facing charges from two songwriters who allege the singer plagiarised one of their tunes in a case reinstated by the California appeals court.

SETH SWIRSKY claims the American star's 1999 tune with group Xscape, THANK GOD I FOUND YOU, is derived from the song JUST ONE OF THOSE LOVE SONGS - co-written with WARRYN CAMPBELL exclusively for the band.

Carey has faced plagiarising accusations in the past, including a case over hit single Hero which was ultimately dismissed.
