Mariah Carey enjoyed another big night in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday night (19DEC05) after claiming three big honours at the Radio Music Awards (RMAs) - but she almost missed out on the celebrations.

The WE BELONG TOGETHER singer flew in to Las Vegas from Paris, France, for the awards and had to dash to the event at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino to make it on time.

She says, "I was trying to get there and I was rushing. I'm infamous for having a little wardrobe malfunction but we got it together."

Among her haul, Carey picked up the night's Radio Legend Award, while her We Belong Together ballad earned her Song of the Year honours on Mainstream Hit Radio and Urban Rhythmic Radio.

Meanwhile, country trio RASCALL FLATTS picked up an RMA for Best Country Song for BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD and Nicole Kidman's new love Keith Urban claimed his first RMA as Country Radio Artist of the Year.

The Goo Goo Dolls, who were a last-minute performance replacement for exhausted Ashlee Simpson and sick Bo Bice, took home Artist of the Year for Adult Hit Radio.

GAVIN DeGRAW, Michael Buble, Ricky Martin and Snoop Dogg were among the performers. Snoop snagged the night's live highlight when he joined the Pussycat Dolls, dressed as Santa for a sexy rendition of EARTHA KITT standard Santa Baby.
