Patience has paid off for SOUL MAN SAM MOORE - ERIC CLAPTON, Mariah Carey and Sting have joined the singer on his new duets album. Moore had planned to release the project, OVERNIGHT SENSATION, earlier this year (06) but shelved recording sessions to concentrate on his touring commitments. And the waIt has worked out well for the SAM + DAVE star as more celebrity fans sign on to work with him. Bruce Springsteen has also added his name to the impressive list of collaborators, which already featured the likes of Jon Bon Jovi, Steve Winwood, PAUL RODGERS and one of late Billy Preston's final performances. Preston, who died last month (JUN06) after a long illness, plays organ on DON BRYANT classic I CAN'T STAND THE RAIN and YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. Carey joins Moore and country hero Vince Gill on IT'S ONLY MAKE BELIEVE and STING duets with the soul legend on NONE OF US ARE FREE.
