Actress Emmy Rossum turned frosty during a radio interview in Los Angeles on Thursday (12Nov09) when the host suggested her romance with rocker Adam Duritz was like Marilyn Manson dating Rose McGowan.
The U.S. media has been critical of the pretty 23 year old's relationship with the 45-year-old Counting Crows frontman, and the Poseidon star decided enough was enough when radio presenter Valentine likened the romance to that of goth-rocker Manson and actress MCGowan.
Rossum, who started dating Duritz this summer (09) after splitting from her husband, took exception to the comparison, stating, "No, no, no, no..." before begging the DJ to change the topic.
She said, "How about my movie...? Anything but my personal life."
And when Valentine pressed her further about the odd romance, suggesting Duritz, whose past girlfriends have included Mandy Moore and Courteney Cox, wouldn't be the obvious choice of mate for young stars, Rossum quipped, "I'm much more mysterious than you know."
