Emma Watson says she can relate to late actress Marilyn Monroe because of the quest to find ''balance'' in her life.
Emma Watson "relates" to Marilyn Monroe.
The 21-year-old actress - who shot to fame when she was just 11 years old after being cast as Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' movie series - understands how the late cinematic icon struggled to cope with her level of fame and the attention she received.
Speaking at the UK premiere of new movie 'My Week with Marilyn' - in which she plays wardrobe assistant Lucy - in London's Haymarket, Emma said: "I certainly feel a lot for her and for what she went through.
"I think she was just trying to find her feet in the midst of this kind of crazy circus that went on around her, and trying to find some sort of balance and some sort of normality in her life, and I can definitely relate to that."
Emma is currently completing her degree at prestigious Oxford University, but she has several acting projects in the pipeline.
She said: "There are a lot of things that I'm lining up."
'My Week with Marilyn' - in which Michelle Williams plays the late actress - is released in cinemas later this week.
