R+B hunk Mario is the ultimate number one in America - he sits atop all the major BILLBOARD singles charts.

The singer's LET ME LOVE YOU has just scored its fifth week at number one on the main HOT 100 chart and now has climbed to the top of the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart.

Mario also rules the Hot 100 Airplay, Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Rhythmic Airplay and Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Singles + Tracks charts.

Punk trio Green Day are also celebrating after their BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS gave them their first Hot 100 top 10 hit after rising from 11 to eight.

The group's AMERICAN IDIOT album scored a second week on top of the album charts yesterday (19JAN05).

It's also a good week for Mariah Carey; she returns to the Hot 100 chart - at 53 - with IT'S LIKE THAT, her first hit for almost two years. It's Carey's highest-debuting Hot 100 song in five years.
