A fan of the French actress Marion Cotillard has been arrested after she allegedly sent the star a number of threatening emails and video messages. FBI agents identified the woman as Teresa Yuan, who was arrested on Thursday (4th August 2011) and is now facing a stalking charge, reports the New York Daily News.
Yuan allegedly sent a series of violent messages in July - one of which revealed her desire to play Russian Roulette with the 'Dark Knight Rises' star. In another clip, the woman said, "The guilt and sorrow I feel now, I won't feel after it happens. After it happens I'll feel no regrets whatsoever ... that's apparently how it feels to be a killer, to be a murderer". Ms Yuan now faces one charge of interstate stalking. As part of her court orders, she must stay away from Cotillard, who is currently shooting Christopher Nolan's upcoming Batman movie in Pittsburgh. She is also barred from using the internet outside her home, or on any mobile device, while her personal internet use will be monitored. The Fbi first became aware of Yuan after an administrator on Marion's fan site sent a complaint about her behaviour.
Marion Cotillard, one of France's most popular actresses, welcomed her first child with partner Guillaume Canet in May 2011.
