Mark Hamill was jealous when his Star Wars co-star Harrison Ford went on to carve out a more successful film career, according to fellow castmate Carrie Fisher.
Hamill played lead character Luke Skywalker in the hit film series and Fisher is convinced the actor was sure the role would lead to a long, prosperous stint in the movie industry.
But Hamill subsequently failed to score any more high profile films, while Ford went on to become an A-list star.
And Fisher admits Hamill was always disappointed he didn't achieve the same.
She says, "(There was) some jealousy. Harrison had this huge film career by the second or third film, that was tough for Mark.
"He was like, 'This wasn't supposed to happen - it's the adventures of Luke Skywalker.'"
