ISOBEL CAMPBELL and Mark Lanegan are set to play their first US gigs together next month, it has been revealed.
The pair released their debut album together back in 2006, but while Ballad of The Broken Trees was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, the duo never found time for an American tour.
Now, the former Belle And Sebastian singer will play three US dates with Lanegan, best known for his work with Queens Of The Stone Age and other rock acts.
The gigs, which are set for New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, will take place on May 27th, 30th and 31st respectively.
Lanegan and Campbell's decision to tour the US follows on from the release of the pair's second Album, Sunday at Devil Dirt, which was released in the country in November 2008.
Campbell left Belle and Sebastian in 2002 to pursue her solo career and during her time with the band co-wrote their top-20 hit Legal Man.
