Mark Ruffalo has admitted he loved directing his first movie so much he can see himself eventually giving up acting to stay behind the camera.
Mark Ruffalo claims directing a movie is like eating a whole pie.
The actor has moved behind the camera for new movie 'Sympathy For Delicious' - which stars Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis and follows an aspiring rock band who extend their line-up to hire a DJ who discovers he has faith healing powers - and he enjoyed the experience so much, he would consider turning his back on acting for good.
He said: "Acting, you get to eat one slice of the pie; directing, you get to eat the whole pie, and I tend to make a glutton of myself.
"It's all I want to be doing. At this moment, I'm a little more turned on by the newness of directing."
Despite his enjoyment of filmmaking, Mark admits he was "very nervous" on his first day on the set of 'Sympathy For Delicious', but quickly took to the process.
He told the Huffington Post: "I was very nervous about it on the first day, I thought I don't really know what the hell I'm doing and how dare I think that I did.
"And then I walked out and I set up the shot and was like, 'You know, I don't like the shot, I don't like the camera here. I want to move it over here.' And very quickly I found myself naturally directing the movie."
