Mark Wahlberg no longer goes out socialising.

The 43-year-old star - who has kids Ella, 10, Michael, eight, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife Rhea Durham - decided to make a sacrifice in order to be able to juggle time with his family along with his responsibilities as an actor, producer and restaurant owner, as well as his charity work with his self-named youth foundation.

Asked how he juggles his responsibilities, he said: ''[I] just stopped going out at night. It was a process to find out how to manage my family life with my professional life.''

Mark can next be seen in 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' and is pleased to have finally made a movie that is suitable for family viewing.

In an interview with 'ET Canada', he said: ''It was cool to make a movie that my kids can see and that they want to see.

''I think people can relate to a guy doing anything he can to protect his daughter.''

After years working behind the camera on the TV series, the actor also revealed he has a ''small cameo'' in the forthcoming 'Entourage' movie.

He said: ''The movie is done. I saw the movie, it's fantastic. I have a small cameo. I play myself.''
